Early Years Learning

Building Foundations for a Bright Future

About Early Years

At TMHS, our approach for the Early Years level is to focus on learning through play. Our Early Years Programme is centered around a milestones-based curriculum, which incorporates elements of different research-informed and evidence-based programs.

Monthly themes help learners achieve these milestones while learning and experiencing real-life concepts. Our learning approach focuses on learners’ ability to solve problems, explore the world around them through hands-on activities, and become more independent.

Milestones We Focus On

Nursery (0 – 3 years)

Our nursery program comprises a balance of growth, development, and learning, while helping children establish routines. Instruction is given in the form of play, songs, and other fun activities in a stimulating and engaging environment.

Safe and Nurturing Environment

Your child will feel safe and develop important physical and socio-emotional skills.

Playful Exploration

Teachers and carers guide children through playful exploration

Class Structure

Our nursery is divided into two groups: below 24 months and 24+ months. The 24+ months class prepares children for kindergarten.

Kindergarten (3+ years)

Our kindergarten offers an enriching environment that complements the beginning of their academic journey. Here, children learn basic skills, knowledge building, and capabilities from different learning areas in accordance with their age and ability.

Problem-Solving Focus

Our learning approach focuses on learners’ ability to solve problems, explore the world around them, and become more independent.
